Water & Moon Festival - Siem Reap - Cambodia

#BonOmTouk or #Water_Festival is one of the most crucial festivals amongst other main festivals in Cambodia. It usually falls in November and lasts for three-day in the Khmer Calendar; this festival is enthusiastically celebrated to marks the extraordinary natural phenomenon of the reversal of the current of the great lake #TonleSap after the victory of #JayavarmanVII over the #Chams in 1177. This year water and moon festival will auspiciously be taken place at #Steung_Siem_Reap_River from 2nd – 4th 2017 where located in the heart of Siem Reap’s city and a chock-full of temples of Angkor to be savoured.

Today the end of Buddhist Lent Day is being enthusiastically celebrated by monks and Buddhists, as well as to which country that respects Buddhism after three-month Buddhist Lent for Monks.
